This Refund Policy applies to purchases made on mysmartdoor.in.
1. Hardware Orders (Smart Nameplates)
- Cancellation before dispatch: Full refund if you cancel before the order is dispatched for manufacturing/shipping
- Cancellation after dispatch: Not eligible for refund, but may be eligible for return (see below)
- Defective or damaged on arrival: Full refund or free replacement if reported within 7 days of delivery, with photo/video evidence
- Wrong item shipped: Full refund or replacement at no extra cost
2. Returns
- Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for defective or damaged products only
- The nameplate must be returned in its original packaging, undamaged by the customer
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method
3. Subscription Refunds
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started, except where required by law
- If you cancel a subscription, you retain access until the end of the current paid period — no partial refunds for unused time
- If a renewal payment is captured in error (e.g., duplicate charge), contact support for a full refund within 5 business days
4. Non-Refundable Situations
- Change of mind after dispatch (hardware orders)
- Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modification
- Subscription time already used
5. How to Request a Refund
Email support@mysmartdoor.in with your order ID, reason for refund, and (if applicable) photo/video evidence. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank.
